The age–old stories in the opening chapters of Genesis have been used (and abused) by Christians for centuries to address such pressing questions as how the world began, how humans originated, how males and females relate, whence comes evil, how science and religion relate and why bad things happen. Come to explore these stories on Sunday mornings from 9:20–9:50 beginning March 6 in our sanctuary. Dr. Blaine Edele (Ph.D. in Old Testament from Duke University) explores these foundational stories from Genesis chapter 1–6. No prior knowledge of Genesis is required, only a curiosity to learn.
