Study of Genesis (Session 6)
The age-old stories in the opening chapters of Genesis have been used (and abused) by Christians for centuries to address such pressing questions as how the world began, how humans originated, how males and females relate, whence comes evil, how science and religion relate and why bad things happen. Come to explore these stories on Sunday mornings from 9:20-9:50 beginning March 6 in our Sanctuary. Dr. Blaine Edele (Ph.D. in Old Testament from Duke University) will explore these foundational stories from the early chapters of Genesis. No prior knowledge of Genesis is required, only a curiosity to learn.
Please note: This class will not meet on Easter Day (April 17) nor Low Sunday (April 24). It will resume in May.
