Holy Eucharist (Rite II)
In the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, welcome.
This service of Holy Eucharist occurs most Saturdays at 5pm. It is a Rite II service, meaning that it uses the more contemporary language of the 1979 Book of Common Prayer, as opposed to the Sunday morning services, which use the Rite I (more traditional) language of the same prayer book. The Saturday evening service has the same lessons and theme of the Sunday morning service that follow — essentially allowing you to attend a “Sunday” service on Saturday evening, instead.
This service includes lessons, prayers, a short sermon, congregational singing, and Holy Communion. All baptized Christians are welcome to make their communion in The Episcopal Church.
If you aren’t yet baptized but are considering it, let us know! Contact us and we’ll be happy to talk about it.
