Hearing Loop installed

In keeping with the Vestry’s goals of both updating and restoring our historic church building, Bethesda has installed a hearing loop to make it easier for those with hearing aids to hear all elements of our services. Some with a suitable hearing device may turn to Channel T and receive better audio. Others may use headphones, available from the ushers.

Once you have tried these new hearing assists, please let us know the results. The loop was installed throughout the church except for several pews to the left of the Gospel-side aisle toward the rear. All other areas of the nave are covered. The contractor was Metro Sound Pros of Washingtonville, working with our architects, John G. Waite Associates, Architects, of Albany. Dean Vang, the Wardens, Vestry, Building Committee, and all of us are grateful for the parish’s support of last August’s fundraiser, which made this improvement possible. Thanks be to God!
